Tiberius (14-37). AR Denarius, Lugdunum mint, 15-16 AD. D/ TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS. Laureate head right. R/ TR POT XVII IMP VII (in exergue). Tiberius, laureate and cloaked, standing in slow quadriga right, holding laurel branch and eagle-tipped sceptre; the horses' heads all turned right. RIC 4. AR. g. 2.61 mm. 18.50 RR. Rare. Lovely patina. Good VF.
