Republic Counterstamped 2 Reales ND (1841-1842) VG, cf. KM8 (unlisted host date). Type I countermark upon a Guatemala-minted 2 Reales of 1797. The vast majority of these punched and countermarked issues saw heavy circulation. Interestingly, the "plug" was cut from each coin to pay for the work.
