Saxony. Friedrich August II 1/2 Vicariat Taler 1741 MS65 NGC, KM-A907. Though described as the 2/3 Taler type on the insert, we note that this example is actually of the 1/2 Taler issue, among which it certainly stands at the highest level of quality and preservation, ranking on par with only a single example seen by PCGS to-date. Struck to exceptional definition with a sea of blue coloration dominating the obverse left and peripheral areas and a toned down reverse that displays a near-matte finish.
