Victoria gold 1/2 Sovereign 1853 MS64 NGC, KM735.1, S-3859. Choice and as lovely as the numerical grade suggests, with a number of tiny obverse abrasions the only detraction. Sharply detailed except for the smallest design elements of the shield and struck from clashed dies. Very scarce so fine, and once in the celebrated Eliasberg collection, as noted on the grading insert.
