A ceremonial cradle against a background of bees / Napoleonic eagle supports sleeping baby, angel supporters. Struck to commemorate the gift of the magnificent ceremonial cradle depicted on the medal, from the City of Paris to Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie. The cradle was designed by Victor Baltard (1805–1874) and he also oversaw its creation. The cradle now resides in Paris' Carnavalet Museum. Housed in an oversized holder.
