CRETE. Gortyna. Circa 98/6-94 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.11 g, 12 h). Bearded head of Minos to right, without diadem; below neck, uncertain letter (Β ?). Rev. ΓΟΡΤ - ΥΝΙ / Β Apollo seated left on rocks, holding a bow and arrow in his left hand; around border of large pellets. Svoronos, Numismatique 176 var. (no letter on the obverse. A toned and boldly struck example. Extremely fine.
