Facing female head (Arethusa?) turned slightly to left, wearing headband, single-pendant earring, and pearl necklace with pendants. Rev. FRNBZW HLK (in Aramaic) Bearded male head (Ares?) to left, wearing crested Athenian helmet with raised ear-flaps and with tendrils on the bowl; behind head, ankh. SNG Copenhagen 267-268. SNG Paris 245. Toned and attractive. Reverse struck slightly off-center, otherwise, extremely fine.
