SICILY. Panormos (as Ziz). Circa 336-330 BC. (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.46 g, 9 h). Laureate head of Apollo to left; below chin, pellet; behind Apollo's neck, dolphin swimming downwards. Rev. (ZIZ) Pegasos flying to left; in exergue, here off the flan, inscription. Calciati 8 Ds1. SNG ANS 555 var. Very rare. With an elegant head of Apollo and a lovely green patina. Reverse partially misstruck, otherwise, extremely fine.
