Celticized head of Apollo to left, his hair shown as an elaborate, tapestry-like pattern that takes up most of the flan. Rev. Deconstructed version of Nike driving a chariot to left; with a rosette below horse and some uncertain symbols to left. ABC 4. Castelin 281 var. De la Tour 7886 var. Delestrée & Tache 65. Scheers 63. Sills class 3b, 33e & pl. 9, 290 (this obverse die). Well centered on a particularly broad flan. Some marks and edge nicks, otherwise, very fine.
