Thessaly, Larissa. Didrachm 350-300, AR 12.19 g. Head of nymph Larissa facing three-quarters l., wearing ampyx, earring and necklace. Rev. ΛAPI – Σ / [AIΩN] Bridled horse advancing r., r. foreleg raised. L-S type 2, series A, Dies O3/R4. BCD Thessaly II, 306 (these dies).
Struck in high relief on excellent metal and with a light iridescent tone. Obverse
from a slightly rusty die and minor traces of double striking on
reverse, otherwise about extremely fine
