Nicephorus II Phocas, 15 August 963 – 10 December 969, with Basil II and Constantine VIII. Tetarteron 963-969, AV 4.08 g. Facing bust of Christ with nimbus, raising r. hand in benediction and holding Book of Gospels in l. hand. Rev. Facing bust of the Virgin, veiled and nimbate and Nicephorus, wearing crown and loros, holding between them patriarchal cross. DO 5. Sear 1780.
Slightly double stuck on reverse, otherwise good very fine
