India Government of India 100 Rupees ND (1925) Pick 10q Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 3.10 PCGS About New 50. A beautiful and fresh example, issued from Madras, in south-east India. Only briefly circulated, and rare in any grade. This is the first example we have offered in auction, and it should see spirited bidding due to its scarcity and high grade. Although the Standard Catalog attributes this note to a release date of 1925, it is more likely that these new King George V portrait notes were issued beginning in 1927.
