French Equatorial Africa Caisse Centrale de la France d'Outre-Mer 1000 Francs 2.2.1944 Pick 19a PMG Extremely Fine 40. Though the design is strikingly similar to the wartime 1941 issue, the most important change is the reversion of the issuer from the Free France Authority to the Overseas France Authority. Black serial numbers should also be noted. The light pink underprint still remains bright and attractive on this lightly circulated example. From the Yuri Solovey Collection of Africa HID08701242017
