Similarly to the previous lot, this 1869 issued currency note is the plate image for the Standard Catalog, and is either unique or extremely close to it. As one can easily deduce, this highest denomination issue is incredibly rare, as evidenced by its small serial number. Centuries have passed since this note circulated in what was then a small and far-flung British Colony. The pinholes and notations on both sides do not distract from the appearance of this note, but rather, add to the history of this issued currency note.
