This Queen Victoria issue is astounding in every aspect, and appears almost as fresh as the day it was issued. St. Stephens is a small town on the New Brunswick and Maine border, and all banknotes issued from this town were done so in small batches. There are three dates known for this type; 1873, 1880, and 1886. Immensely rare with any date, and in all grades, which adds to the allure of this example.
