Port of Spain, Trinidad- The Royal Bank of Canada $5 Jan. 2, 1909 Ch. # 630-64-02 PMG Choice Fine 15. The Canadian Paper Money Society Note Registry lists just six notes by serial number, ranging from VG to VF. This piece has all the appearance of a Very Fine, and is set apart from most of the other survivors by its problem free paper. A slightly higher graded example with minor rust and a paper pull topped $7,200 in 2017. The red overprint TRINIDAD, PAYABLE AT PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD is still bold and bright, with a solid penned signature at lower right. A solid, problem free rarity destined for a world class Canadian Chartered collection. HID08701242017
