Luxembourg German Occupation World War II 10 Frang 20.4.1940 Pick 41 Schwan-Boling 701 PMG Choice Very Fine 35 Net. Nazi Germany invaded Luxembourg on May 9, 1940 and fighting lasted a day. Shortly thereafter, Luxembourg was annexed into the Third Reich. Interestingly, this note carries a pre-invasion date of Adolf Hitler's 51st birthday. PMG has graded only one example of this note and this is it. This issue is simply listed without any values in the Krause reference. Also, Schwan-Boling lists the issue as "rare." The net grade is for being thinned and previously mounted. HID08701242017
