Luxembourg Grand-Duche de Luxembourg 500 Francs ND (1982) Pick 52Acts Color Trial Specimen PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. A rare Color Trial Specimen of a proposed banknote type, which eventually went unissued. Belgium and Luxembourg had a currency agreement, which was altered by Belgium in 1982, without warning. Luxembourg was forced to scramble to create currency to replace the Belgian notes circulating with Luxembourg. Ultimately, an agreement must have been reached, as these proposed notes never made it to circulation. This striking color trial is a stunning proposal of the currency to be issued, if need be.
