Mexico Banco Nacional de Mexico 500 Pesos 1.3.1911 Pick S262b PMG Very Fine 30. The bank opened its doors in 1884 and issued its first notes the following year. The institution was able navigate its way through the Revolutionary period and is the largest bank in Mexico today under the banner of Banamex. Printed by ABNCo., the face of the note depicts Manuelita Garcia Teruel flanked by allegorical representations of Knowledge and Commerce while the back shows a herd of horses.
