South Africa South African Reserve Bank 1 Pound 12.4.1949 Pick 93b PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. An incredible example of a very rare B/28 prefixed £1. This was the only prefix where thicker paper was used, and totaled at a million notes issued, a drop in the bucket when there was a total of 377 million issued for this Pick type. This is only one of 6 on the PMG report, and the next best graded example obtained a grade of 25. We are unable to find any sale comparisons in any grade.
