This bank was the end result of a merger of the El Banco Mercantil de Yucatan and El Banco Yucateco in 1905. Its charter was cancelled by the government in 1915. This note, with the new title overprinted in red on an old Banco Mercantil de Yucatan note, is very scarce in grades of Very Fine or better. HID08701242017
