Bust right, wearing diadem and mural crown with korymbos and earflaps / Fire altar; flanked by two attendants wearing mural crowns. SNS Type IIc/1a, Style A, Groupe indéterminé; Sunrise –. VF, toned, minor deposits on reverse, slightly crystallized surfaces."

This represents another specialised field of study which is peripheral to this collection, but a representative sample of coins of Šābuhr (Shahpur) I is included brecause of the enormous influence on Roman history of Šābuhr's victory over, and capture of, Valerian I.
