Lot of two (2) coins. 95a Salonina. Augusta, AD 254-268. Antoninianus (20mm, 2.71 g, 12h). Hybrid with reverse of Valerian I. Rome mint. 1st-5th issue, AD 253-260. SALONINA AVG, diademed and draped bust right on crescent / FELICITAS AVGG, Felicitas standing left, holding long caduceus and cornucopiae. MIR 36, Tafel 132, hybrid 73; RIC V (joint reign) 27; Chalfont 271 (this coin, illustrated); Cunetio 658 (described as rev. of Valerian I); Eauze –; Normanby –; Stevenage –. VF, porous, deposits. Very rare, one in Chalfont (present coin), one in Cunetio (now in BM), none in other major hoards.
