COINS. INDIA - POST GUPTA. Kampili, Kampiladeva (1300-27): Gold Pagoda, 3.83g, Obv upright dagger between conch and discus, Rev faint traces of Nagari inscription (F 390; Mitch, Karnatika-Andhra 306). Very fine and scarce.
Kampili was a small independent kingdom between the Yadavas and the Hoysalas. The reverse of the present coin was struck with a very worn die so that only traces of the usual legend are visible.
