New Caledonia, Banque de l’Indochine, Nouméa: Specimen 100- and 1000-Francs, ND (c.1940), first with female at centre holding figure of Athena, Angkor on the back, second with market scene and camels on the front, and Specimen 20-Francs, with youth at left and flute player at right, all with serial no.O.00 000 and perforated “SPECIMEN”, last also with black “SPECIMEN No. 0075” overprint (P 42s, 43, 50s). The 1000-Francs with minor discolouration, otherwise all uncirculated and scarce.
