Puerto Rico (under Spain), half dollar, fleur-de-lis countermark (1884) on a USA (Philadelphia mint) half dollar Capped Bust 1832. KM-9. 11.88 grams. Bold full countermark on reverse of host with clear eagle and bust and date but not much else due to wear (Fair), with hole at top above countermark, scarce and popular issue. NOTE: SEE LOTS 1388 AND 1389 FOR PUERTO RICAN COINS ENGRAVED BY US SOLDIERS DURING THE SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR.
