St. Bartholomew, 1 styver, ca. 1765(?), crown countermark on obverse of a French colonial copper crowned-C stampee (ca. 1763), rare. Vlack-unl (cf. 414). 1.80 grams. Full VF countermark with nice toning, the host slick (somewhat brassy in color) except for the crowned-C (Fine) directly underneath the countermark, unlisted in Vlack but a logical host for the time.
