St. Vincent, twopence-farthing, ca. 1814, incuse retrograde S countermark inside box on the reverse of a French colonial copper crowned-C stampee (ca. 1763), rare, ex-Hawkins, ex-Roehrs. Prid-14; KM-8. 1.14 grams. Bold countermark (Fine) on a nearly featureless host (Fair) with minor wrinkling, mostly darkly toned, good pedigree. Pedigreed to the R.N.P Hawkins collection (Glendining, March 1988, lot #448), and to the Edward Roehrs collection (Dix Noonan Webb, November 2011, lot #550).
