Buenos Aires, Argentina, uniface oval silver medal, (1854), Colegio y Seminario de Buenos Aires, with two-keys ornament at top. Cunietti-pg. 136; Rosa-948. 40x36mm with 31x13mm ornament, 14.10 grams. Wreath around Argentine arms above COLEGIO Y SEMINARIO / DE / BUENOS-AYRES. Lightly toned XF+, no problems. Very scarce (only 208 pieces made), reportedly struck from 400 melted-down "half-patacon coins" using dies engraved by French artist Eugenio Tessier.
