Popayan, Colombia, Estado Soberano del Cauca, 1 peso, 1-6-1887, series D, serial 47984. SCWPM-S449; CHPM-7978. All notes from the Banco del Estado are very scarce, especially those printed by the American Bank Note Company. VG/Fine, some internal holes and splits, minor stains, tape repairs on reverse, still possessing good paper integrity and the original colorful ink seen throughout this series.
