French twelve-pounder solid shot recovered from the field of Waterloo, 1815. 5022 grams and 4-1/4" diameter for ball, 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" stand. Historic artifact in age-pitted but stable condition with a handy oak display stand containing tag which states "Waterloo June 18, 1815, French 12 pounder shot recovered on the grounds of the Hougement, recovered in 1985."
