Unusual hand-forged iron Chinese three-barrel pole cannon, 1600s-1700s. 2066 grams, iron barrel and socket 16-1/2" long, 32" overall length with handle. A strange (but probably effective) early weapon with three holes in one end in which shot and powder were loaded, the other end a cylindrical receptacle for a wooden pole (replacement pole added later),rather heavy and solid with light surface pitting and dark toning from age. With photo-certificate.
