Silver candlestick holder, Spanish colonial, 1700s. 686 grams, 9-1/2" tall, 5" diameter. Lovely, ornate, almost completely intact and functional silver candle holder with initials "MS" engraved in bottom. Several sections screw together, including the open-weave center section consisting of leaves and flowers. Base has ornate open-weave feet consisting of more flowers and leaves. A beautiful example of Spanish colonial handiwork and prettiest one we have offered. Pedigreed to Alberto "Coco" Derman.
