Silver "tumbaga" bar #M-39, 2249.9 grams, marked with fineness ...C...XXX (unclear), and partial tax stamp, ex-"Tumbaga wreck" (ca. 1528), Garcia-Barneche Plate. 6-5/8" x 3" x 7/8". A neat "half brick" with circular tax stamp showing top of castle and [RE]X C[AROLVS] on flat top and faint fineness on slightly rounded bottom, crude diagonal assayer's "bite" in one corner, light surface corrosion, nicely toned.
