Watch List notes:

Atocha Copper ingot, 59 lb, ex-Atocha (1622). 15" x 9" x 3". Unusually rectangular but still typically crude, the flattish top almost completely encrusted in white-and-green encrustation that extends to the rough and rounded bottom in a few places, the metal surface itself dark brown with spots of orange. From the Atocha (1622), with original Fisher photo-certificate #85A-C057, pedigreed to the Stuart Auerbach collection (see lot 4).
