Clump of four Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer P (where visible). 120.65 grams total. Four very solid and well-preserved coins (nicely cleaned) in a fallen stack with heavy tan coral encrustation in between the middle two, both end-coins with shield-side out, one with bold oMP and denomination 8, ideal for a paperweight. Pedigreed to our Auction #7 (lot #270). Recovered from: Concepcion, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
