Granada, Spain, cob 4 reales, Philip II, assayer oF above denomination oIIII to right, ex-Santiago (1585), mounted cross-side out in silver bezel with 14K gold prongs and shackle bail. 20.41 grams total. Scarce coin, with nice full cross-and-tressure (distinctive design with pointed parts at ends of cross), nice full shield with full assayer-denomination oF-oIIII to right (nearly aligned axis), light surface corrosion, attractively toned. From the Santiago (1585).
