Seville, Spain, cob 2 escudos, 1617G, rare, ex-Atocha (1622). CT-46. 6.75 grams. Choice full cross with clear bottom half of date in legend, nearly full and well-detailed shield and crown, Mint State with some roughness in peripheries from rusty dies but also some scratches on reverse where coral was removed (traces remaining). From the Atocha (1622), with original Fisher tags (paper and plastic) and certificate #85A-GC041, hand inscribed to the consignor "Today's the day... Mel."
