Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer F (style of assayer O, crown with bottom loop). S-M12; KM-43; CT-154. 26.16 grams. Full and well-detailed shield with nearly full crown above and clear oMF to left (possibly unique die, first we have seen in any case) but peripherally flat, the cross-lions-castles full but with odd porosity to one side, non-toned VF overall.
