Lima, Peru, 4 reales, Philip II, assayer X(?) or X/R(?) to left (small), PL-VSV-LT, legends HISPAN / NIARVM, possibly extremely rare. S-L2; KM-unl (10.1 for type). 12.35 grams. Broad, round flan with bold full legends (except for flatness in one area on both sides), choice inner details, the assayer small and nebulous but really looks like an X or possibly X over small R, nicely toned XF with light surface corrosion.
