Watch List notes:

COMOROS: medal, The Royal Order of the Star of Anjouan, in gilt silver, with white enamel center bearing Arabic text, plus hand & crescent, all within bronze 8-point star, with loop attached for suspension, measures roughly 50x68mm with the loop, EF, RR. This Order was established by Sultan Mohammed Said Omar in 1874, to be awarded in recognition of distinguished service to France and the Comoros Protectorate, which also includes Reunion Island and Madagascar. This Order was terminated by France in 1963, before being later revived by the Independent Comoros Islands.
