CHINA: AE medal, ND (ca. 1900), CCC-783, 39mm, coining press // Chinese legend, shànghai déshang dìyàshì yángháng gailiáng zhuanshì / yìnhuaji tú ( "Picture of the modified special printing machine [produced or supplied by] Shanghai German Trade Firm 'Diyashi' Company "), cleaned, but still very attractive with much original luster, PCGS graded Unc details. At least three different foreign companies present in Shanghai before 1949 are listed under the name of 'Diyashi' Company: Ferdinand Diers & Company, J. W. Muller & Company, and H. M. Schultz & Company.
