KUSHAN: Kanishka I, ca. 127-151, AE tetradrachm (15.80g), G-785, Burns-175, Cribb dies q/15, king standing, holding goad & scepter, offering sacrifice at altar, royal legend around // Sakyamuni Buddha facing, right hand raised in gesture of abhyamudra, left hand holding his robe, somewhat blundered legend reading CAKAMANO BOYDO, well-centered, with full reverse inscription, VF, RR. A somewhat nicer specimen from the same pair of dies was sold at the Triton Auction XV, Lot 1370 (2012).
