BURID: Abaq, 1140-1154, debased AV dinar (4.11g), Dimashq, AH548, A-A784, citing the Burid ruler and his Seljuq overlords in the inner obverse margin, al-amir âbaq al-sultan sanjar wa mas'ud, with the caliph cited as al-imam in the reverse center, al-muqtafi in the obverse center, one minor weak spot, unpublished and probably unique, VF-EF, RRRR, ex M.H. Mirza Collection. Although Mas'ud died in Rajab AH547, he was still cited on this Burid dinar at Dimashq, on the same side as the clear date, AH548.
