ILKHAN: Uljaytu, 1304-1316, AV dinar (8.83g), Qays, AH704, A-2177, type A, with fully clear mint name on the reverse, choice VF, RRR. Qays is the island Kish in the Persian Gulf, now the shopping, amusement and gambling center of modern Iran. This is only reported coin of Uljaytu struck at that mint, best known from dinars of Abu Sa'id and some very rare dinars of Ghazan Mahmud.
