ILKHAN: LOT of 35 silver and 4 copper coins: Silver: Abaqa (8 pcs, including one kaaniki dirham dated AH676 but without legible month, and 2 pieces of Khabushan DM, and the lion type of Tus, but both poorly struck and of minimal value); Arghun (6 pieces, including 4 of Khabushan DM in VF-EF condition); Ghazan Mahmud (5 pieces, including nice examples of Baghdad, al-Basra, Kashan and Tabriz, all with legible date and at least VF condition; and the rare mint of Aksaray DM, but lightly porous and probably mount removed); Uljaytu (3); Abu Sa'id (5, including Bayburt 34 khani); Sati Beg (1 pc, mint off flan); Sulayman (4 pcs, including the rare mint or Zaydan (74)1, but crudely struck VF); and Anushiravan (1); Copper: 4 pieces in low quality; all in envelopes as identified by the consignor (many corrected by us); retail value $950, lot of 39 pieces.
