TIMURID: Sultan Husayn, 1469-1506, AR tanka (5.07g), Simnan, ND, A-2439, third countermark series, overstruck on what is probably and almost obliterated Aq Qoyunlu tanka, VF, RR. This is the first countermarked coin of Sultan Husayn we have seen from the Simnan mint, moderately rare for his regular coinage but apparently unreported for his countermarks.
