SAFAVID: Sulayman I, 1668-1694, AR 10 shahi (18.01g), Isfahan, AH1096, A-2658, cf. Rabino-14, usual traces of having been mounted (as is the norm for both his 10 and 20 shahi silver coins), bold strike without any weakness, VF, S. Both the 10 and 20 shahi coins of Sulayman I and other later Safavids were struck for presentation purposed. It was at least theoretically required to be mounted on one's formal coat, and for this reason they are almost never found without having once been mounted.
