MEDIEVAL ISLAMIC:LARGE LOT of about 300 copper coins, including Qarakhanid: Kharashket type of AH420 (5 pcs, F-VF), Ilaq & Ferghana (18 pcs, average VG); and miscelleanous (probably about 30 pcs, Fair to Fine); Tahirid: type of al-Shash 241 (31 pcs, average VG); Samanid: al-Shash type of 254/255 (43 pcs, average VG-F) and type of 280 (14 pcs, average VG); Central Asia: standard 15th and early 16th century dangis, mostly Bukhara type and many with countermarks (74 pieces, identified by the consignor, average grade only Good condition, thus of minimal value); average about VG condition, but many worse or with some corrosion or other damage, but some nicer, retail value $1400, lot of about 225 pieces.
