Laureate, draped, and cuirassed right / Gordian, holding laurel branch and eagle-tipped scepter, driving quadriga left; behind, Nike, holding palm, crowning him with wreath; to left, three soldiers holding palms; S R in exergue. Kryzanowska dies IX/36; SNG BN –. VF, earthen black-green patina, slight obverse die shift. Very rare reverse type.
